Well, as it so happens, I picked up the completely wrong block to embellish for CQJP January. So, of course, I don't have a blank block picture for this one. I used the stitches from the Joyful Embellishments Facebook group on this block. I've decided to make a stitch book when this is all done.

CQ journal project registration has begun; will you be entering? I haven't decided yet. I really liked Lisa B.'s pincushions and thought that would be a terrific avenue to use to jump right in, but don't know if I can actually commit.

I've made some progress with the block for Kathy's CQBC course. The course has been well written with detailed and easy to understand instructions.

Here are my contributions to Judyth's block for the black color study round robin at CQ for Newbies group.

Kathy's CQBC Class - My fabric

I signed up to take Kathy's, at shawkl.com, basic crazy quilting course. The fabric choices that we were to select had to be in the neutral or pastel tone, two of which I wouldn't normally work with for CQ, making it a tough decision for me. But, I managed to turn my scrap baskets upside down and find fabric that fits the bill perfectly.
