I've made some progress with the block for Kathy's CQBC course. The course has been well written with detailed and easy to understand instructions.

 This is the pieced block stitched to muslin.

 Seams are marked with basic seam stitches.

Judyth's Block - Black RR

Here are my contributions to Judyth's block for the black color study round robin at CQ for Newbies group.

Kathy's CQBC Class - My fabric

I signed up to take Kathy's, at shawkl.com, basic crazy quilting course. The fabric choices that we were to select had to be in the neutral or pastel tone, two of which I wouldn't normally work with for CQ, making it a tough decision for me. But, I managed to turn my scrap baskets upside down and find fabric that fits the bill perfectly.

My hussif is complete!

My completed hussif. It turned out huge, think large sheet of paper in length.  It's not perfect, but it turned out nice enough.
